Our sponsors are an integral part of our program. It is shown that horses in rescues do better when they have a person that visits them often. Your generous donation will help provide for board, farrier care, dentist care, de-worming, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and training.
Why Sponsor One of Our Horses?
Let’s face it. Some of our horses just will not be adopted. They are too old, too abused or just not quite what people are looking for.
By becoming a sponsor, you can direct your donation dollars towards the care and feeding of a specific companion horse of your choosing. We have plenty to choose from that could use your help.
Sponsorship makes a great gift idea to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions for fellow horse lovers. Not only is this a great gift idea, but it’s a wonderful program for school kids, church groups, and business organizations!
Pick your special horse and become a part of this rewarding experience and a part of the Peaceful Ridge Family!
Our Sponsorship Program
Some of our horses are difficult to re-home. They may have been abused, have health issues or may be elderly. These horses need sponsorship so they can bond with a person and get the one-on-one care they deserve.
Everyday we get calls from people asking to take in their horses.
We cannot continue to bring in new horses unless the ones that are here are sponsored.
Our sponsor levels are
Farrier care
$30 per month
Feed
$175 a month
Riding privileges 3 times a week.
$250 a month
Riding privileges any day and unique rider
$450 a month
We are happy to accept any amount from our sponsors, but we do ask that you commit to a regular monthly donation.

Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries
Every day, the world over, wild and domestic animals are abandoned, displaced, or injured by humans and natural causes. Retired Racehorse Project(RRP) exists to facilitate placement of Thoroughbred ex-racehorses in second careers by increasing demand for them in equestrian sports and serving the farms, trainers, and organizations that transition them.
The United Horse Coalition
The United Horse Coalition is a broad alliance of equine organizations that have joined together under the American Horse Council to educate the horse industry about the problem of the unwanted horse. We seek to provide information for existing and prospective owners, breeders, sellers, and horse organizations regarding the long-term responsibilities of owning and caring for horses, as well as focusing on the opportunities available for these horses.
